Caroline Wood – MNZAC
I have been counselling for 9 years and have a counselling degree from NMIT in Nelson. Prior to this training I was a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner and also an artist (I have an art degree from Bath University in the UK).
I am passionate about my work as a counsellor with individuals and couples and I’m a registered, full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors – NZAC.
Qualifications
- I completed the counselling degree in December 2013, from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology. The 3 year degree course was titled Bachelor of Applied Social Science (counselling).
- I have done specialist training, from before the degree course and also since graduating from NMIT.
Examples of training: Working with trauma, couples counselling, families and groups, youth and suicide, Neuro-linguistic programming training (master practitioner, for trauma recovery, phobias and goal setting), addiction training, online study of neuro-psychotherapy for up to date information on the psycho-social aspects of the brain and neurology.
- I’m a full member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).
